1666 visitors and a hand-coded den for the artwork and worldbuilding — that's a better use of a website than most of what gets funded. One practical thing for an art archive: compressing gallery thumbnails to a target size runs locally, so nothing leaves your machine. Do keep the originals though — it's lossy, and on line art or anything with flat colour you'll see the edges go mushy before the file gets small.
